By this time, one thing is clear to us: A good English parser without a brain has no brains.
Following the suggestion of Luke, our team leader for parse activity, we decided to explore aspects of the “Semantic Web”. In particular, what would a web search that was directed by plain English interaction look like? We have all Googled something and gotten three dump-truck loads of information from the search. Google has done an amazing job with statistical analysis of word content in matters such as question sentences and the like.
