Demonstration of Emotion and Experience

Today Neuric performed its first demonstrations of its brain driving a 3D animation model, and showing the emotions of the brain in real time as it interacted with its environment. (See previous post, “Lead on, Shrek!” for the backstory.)
Responding to an earlier challenge by Activision, we developed a 3D animation model to demonstrate the emotional interaction of the brain with its environment. We hired David Johnson, a long-time resident of Hollywood and proficient 3D modeler, to create that model. David created a wire-frame model using the Microsoft Direct-X (9) system, defining a bone-and-skeleton cranial model with state of the art skinning and morphing. Read more…
