The initial three patents for what is to become a human-like brain were re-filed last year into the initial utility patent, which the USPTO has since allowed. The patent was issued August 8th, 2006, as US 7,089,218 — filed and issued within the same year! Because this is usually a three-year process, we are extremely pleased with what that speaks to. The first substantive demonstration of the human-like brain in the seven months since the formal startup of Neuric Technologies, LLC, was performed today for investors. This demonstration shows the Neuric Brain communicating in ordinary English, being asked questions of the text of a geography lesson it reads during the demo. This is also the initial demonstration of the Brain’s emotions and their impact on how it responds to questions. Read more…
